Severe Thunderstorm Warning for San Antonio and Bexar County TX
The National Weather Service has given multiple severe thunderstorm warnings this afternoon to counties and towns north of San Antonio, including Comfort, Kerrville, Bandera and Fredericksburg.
The NWS also issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Bexar County until 10 p.m. Thursday night.
Thursday, May 28
8:25 p.m.
The NWS has canceled the severe thunderstorm watch across South Central Texas. The remainder of the night should be partly to mostly cloudy, with a few residual showers across southern and western areas exiting to the south.
5:50 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued specifically for Bexar County and the City of San Antonio. According to the NWS, mainly the north side will be affected, with up to quarter-size hail and 60-mph winds.
